Warhammer 40k

This Sons of Horus Legion Apothecary by JoyToy is one of the most technically sophisticated figures in the Horus Heresy line – largely thanks to its head profile: the two prominent sensor mounts with yellow lenses and the red‑green signal unit make him instantly recognizable as an Apothecary of the XVI Legion and give him a distinctive silhouette that immediately stands out on any shelf.

The teal–petrol blue armor of the Sons of Horus forms a strong contrast to the white shoulder pad and the long surgeon’s coat – one of the most iconic visual trademarks of any Apothecary in 40k lore. The coat features authentic blood splatters and a red trim, giving the figure a lived‑in, battle‑hardened story without looking rough or unfinished. The narthecium on his right arm and the striking chainsword in his left hand round out the role identity of this figure perfectly.

The included alternative teal‑and‑gold backpack with red diamond symbols and warning markings offers a second, slightly more aggressive display option – ideal for collectors who like to stage their figures in a unique way. For Sons of Horus fans looking to complete their JoyToy unit, the Apothecary is the most role‑defining addition: he brings a function to your diorama that a standard Marine simply can’t fulfill. As a gift for Horus Heresy enthusiasts who play or collect the XVI Legion, he’s a spot‑on choice that shows you really know your lore.

Care: PVC figures are best cleaned gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth; solvents or harsh household cleaners should be avoided at all costs, as they can damage the paintwork. Store swap‑out hands, backpack and chainsword in a small container so no accessories get lost. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight – especially the signature teal blue and the white of the coat can fade under continuous UV exposure.

Add the Apothecary to your Sons of Horus unit now – so no one falls on the battlefield unnecessarily.
