The biggest star in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is neither Newt Scamander, Jacob Kowalski, nor Queenie Goldstein. No, the true star of the movie doesn’t even have a name – it’s the Niffler, perhaps the cutest magical creature from the world of JK Rowling. The Niffler made its first appearance in the book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. During a Care of Magical Creatures lesson, it was so impressive that Ron even asked: Can you buy them as pets, Hagrid?
You can! However, a real Niffler would be too dangerous, as these mischievous creatures can cause entire houses to collapse. Better to stick with a less chaotic but equally adorable collector’s figure! This figure is highly detailed and hand-painted. Not only is the figure itself stunning, but so is its small display case. Inside, the Niffler sits between the red wallet from the movie and several coins – some of which it’s stashing in its adorable little pouch.
The Niffler figure can also be removed from the display case if you want to showcase it separately. You don’t have to worry about it coming to life and wrecking your home. This one is very well-behaved. Right? You’re a good one! Good Niffler! Haha, it’s soooo cute! Oh, excuse us, we got carried away.
